Booking Terms and Conditions

A non refundable deposit of £50 is payable on booking. The deposit is refundable if the booking is not accepted. Half the balance to be paid six weeks prior of letting period, the final balance two weeks before arrival. Confirmation of booking will be issued on receipt of deposit.

Should you cancel the booking with less than eight weeks to the date of the booking , then you will be bound by this agreement to pay in full for that booking, Payment must be made whether or not you have at the time of cancellation paid in full for the booking. It is therefore advised that holiday cancellation insurance is taken out

If we should need to cancel the booking we will refund in full all monies paid to us by you. Responsibility and financial liability of Herd House Holiday Homes shall be limited to the return of monies received in the event of accommodation booked in good faith not being available owing to circumstances beyond our control

We will endeavour to have properties ready for you from 2.00pm on the start date of the booking. Arrangements can be made to leave bags prior to this time, we also reserve the right extend the time should this be necessary. Keys will be available from 2.00pm from Herd House. If you are going to be later than 5.00pm please let us know so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Accommodation must be vacated by 10am on the finishing date, this can be flexible if no booking is following immediately after yours.

All properties are in a clean and tidy condition on your arrival. Any problems should reported within 24 hours. A £50 deposit is charged, returnable when properties are left in a clean and tidy condition.

Any problems found with any appliance, fixture or fitting must be reported so that a repair or replacement can be made within a reasonable time. Guests should not attempt repairs to property or contents. This will invalidate service contracts warranties or agreements, and charges for such repairs will pass to the hirer. The Hirer undertakes to keep the property, furniture, fixtures and fittings in or about the premises in the same state of repair and condition as at the time of there arrival, and shall report and pay to the owners the value of any part of the premises, furniture, fixtures, or fittings so destroyed or damaged by them, as to be incapable of being restored to its former condition.
